They are a leading machine manufacturer of optical fiber, data cables & power cables & has in-house capability to execute turn key projects for specially Optical Fiber Cable manufacturing & are based at Navi Mumbai.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Draughtsman with experience in machine design, preferably in the field of optical fiber cable machinery. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and layouts based on engineering concepts and specifications. These drawings will support the manufacturing, installation, and operation of optical fiber cable machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
  • Prepare detailed assembly drawings, part drawings, and fabrication drawings for custom machinery.
  • Interpret and convert concept sketches and verbal instructions into engineering drawings.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure technical accuracy and manufacturability of designs.
  • Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and internal specifications.
  • Coordinate with the production departments to clarify drawing-related queries.
  • Assist in developing and improving design standards and templates.

Key Skills And Competencies

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
  • Familiarity with machinery used in optical fiber cable manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and schematics.

Education And Experience

  • ITI Mechanical (Draughtsman)
  • 1-2 years of experience in drafting for industrial machinery, preferably in the optical fiber or cable manufacturing sector.
  • Monthly salary will be in the range of 20000 to 25000 per month
