Draftman

Job Description:

As a civil draftsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for civil

engineering projects. Your role will involve working closely with engineers and architects to translate

design concepts into precise drawings that can be used for construction and development.

Responsibilities:

1. Drafting: Produce accurate and detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD)

software such as AutoCAD or similar tools. This includes architectural, structural, and site

plans, as well as other technical drawings as required.

2. Design Support: Assist engineers and architects in developing design concepts and translating

them into workable drawings. Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure that

drawings meet project requirements and specifications.

3. Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to identify and correct errors or

discrepancies. Ensure that drawings comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry

standards.

4. Documentation: Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions. Keep accurate

records of project specifications, changes, and approvals.

5. Coordination: Coordinate with other members of the project team, including engineers,

architects, and contractors, to ensure that drawings are accurate and complete. Communicate

effectively with team members to address any concerns or questions related to drawings and

designs.

6. Problem Solving: Identify and solve technical problems related to drafting and design. Offer

creative solutions to challenges encountered during the design process.

Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in civil engineering, drafting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar programs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and design work.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, standards, and practices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Additional Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a draftsman in the civil engineering or construction industry

may be preferred.

• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Professional certification or license may be required for some positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
