Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman – Civil Designs to support our solar EPC projects. The role involves preparing accurate civil and structural drawings for solar power projects, ensuring compliance with design standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to translate technical designs into actionable construction drawings.

Key Roles And Responsibilities

• Civil Design Drafting
  

Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings for solar EPC projects, including foundations, mounting structures, access roads, drainage, and other civil works.
Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements accurately.Ensure drawings comply with design standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

• Project Collaboration
  

Work closely with civil engineers, structural engineers, and project managers to finalize designs and drawings.
Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams to ensure integrated designs for the solar plant.Participate in project meetings to provide drafting support and updates on design progress.

• Design Optimization
  

Assist in optimizing foundation and structural designs for cost-effectiveness, constructability, and durability.
Suggest modifications or improvements to designs based on site conditions or project requirements.

• Documentation & Compliance
  

Maintain accurate records of all drawings, revisions, and approvals.
Ensure all drawings are compliant with local building codes, environmental regulations, and project-specific guidelines.Support preparation of as-built drawings and project documentation for submission to clients or authorities.

• Software & Technical Expertise
  

Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar drafting software to prepare precise 2D/3D drawings.
Understand structural loads, reinforcement detailing, and foundation design principles relevant to solar PV structures.Ensure all drawings are dimensionally accurate and technically complete.

• Quality Control
  

Review and cross-check drawings for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.Coordinate with engineers for drawing approvals and revisions.Support site teams by providing clarifications and guidance on drawing interpretations.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent CAD software; understanding of structural design and detailing.
