Role of the Drafting Engineer

The Drafting Engineer will play a key role in designing and developing technical drawings for industrial projects, ensuring precision, compliance, and alignment with project goals. This role requires hands-on expertise in drafting software and a keen understanding of industrial processes to deliver high-quality Outputs

Key Job Responsibilities

· Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, BIM Model, Solid Works, and other

drafting tools.

· Develop and maintain Building Information Models (BIM) for complex industrial projects.

· Collaborate with design teams to translate conceptual designs into detailed engineering drawings.

· Review technical drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications.

· Work closely with project teams to integrate designs with industrial processes.

· Maintain document control for drawings and ensure proper versioning.

· Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts in coordination with other disciplines.

· Support site teams with as-built drawings and design clarifications.

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering fields.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial drafting or design.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Design, BIM Modeling, and Solidworks.

· Knowledge of industrial processes, workflows, and standards.

· Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Language Preferences

· Proficiency in English is mandatory.

· Knowledge of Kannada and Hindi is preferred for effective collaboration with local teams.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
