Advertisement for the Post of Research Assistant and Field Investigator (On Contractual Basis) Date: October 10, 2025

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the posts of Research Assistant and Field Investigator (both on a contractual basis) for the ICSSR-sponsored minor research project in the Institute of Commerce, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 382481, India, with the details mentioned below: Project Details:

Title of the Project Finfluencers, Financial Literacy, Financial Well-being and Investment Decisions: A Study of Investors in India

Sponsoring Agency Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi

Sanction No. 90/2024-25/ICSSR/RP/MN/GEN

Full-Time Position 1 Research Assistant (RA) 01 post for 6 Months or completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

Full-Time Position 2 Field Investigator (FI) 02 posts for 3 Months each

Essential Qualifications

RA Post Graduate in social science discipline (55% minimum) with NET/M.Phil/Ph.D.

FI Post Graduate in social science discipline with a minimum 55%.

Read and analyse academic articles. Excellent command over written and oral communication skills. Experience in conducting primary surveys and interviews. Strong capabilities in quantitative data analysis and tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Excel,

Knowledge of qualitative data analysis using any tool. Should have strong motivation and commitment towards research, and potential

Fellowship 37,000 per month for RA and Rs. 20,000 per month for FI

The assignment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. All original testimonials would be required to be produced for verification

purpose at the time of interview/joining.

No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview and/or joining the position.

All the terms and conditions for this recruitment will be as per the guidelines of ICSSR, New Delhi.

Merely fulfilling eligibility does not guarantee selection; selection will be based on performance in the interview.
