Angular with .NET core developer - Senior Associate
The opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Angular 16 (or above) and .NET Core Developer to join our dynamic team at EY GDS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing web applications using Angular and .NET Core technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Your Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Angular 16 (or above) and .NET Core.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure best practices.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills are required to manage multiple technical challenges from multiple services and projects simultaneously
- Take ownership of the tasks assigned
- Provide insights in designing
- Evaluate recommendations provided for service improvements, with the ability to identify any gaps or alternate solutions.
- Able to deliver engineering work independently or in (virtual) team globally.
Skills And Attributes For Success
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Essential
- Demonstrable experience in supporting Live/Post-Production systems.
- C# language proficiency
- Angular experience
- .NET core REST API experience
- Ability to write SQL queries
Beneficial
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Other Requirements:
- Candidate must be flexible to the demands of the services we provide and any project to which they are assigned.
- The role may require out of office hours work.
- Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days remote (REMI)
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Post-secondary education in Broadcast or IT Technology / Computer Sciences
Experience:
- At least 5 to 8 years experience in web development using Angular and .NET
- Knowledge of SQL
