Job Title: Door Attendant (Doorman) Department: Front Office / Guest Services Reports To: Front Office Manager Supervises: None Job Summary: The Door Attendant is responsible for greeting guests upon arrival and departure, opening doors, assisting with luggage, and providing information or directions as needed. As the first point of contact, the Door Attendant plays a key role in creating a welcoming and professional first impression for guests. Key Responsibilities: Greet guests and visitors warmly upon arrival and departure. Open doors and assist guests with entering and exiting the hotel or vehicles. Coordinate with Bellboys for luggage assistance. Assist with hailing taxis, rideshare pickups, or arranging transportation. Maintain a professional and polished appearance at all times. Provide directions and basic hotel or local area information when requested. Monitor the main entrance to ensure security and order. Work closely with security and front office teams to ensure smooth guest flow. Maintain cleanliness and order at the entrance area. Report any unusual activities or guest complaints to the supervisor. Required Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Pleasant personality and excellent grooming standards. Ability to stand for long periods and work in outdoor conditions. Basic understanding of guest service and hotel protocols. Politeness, alertness, and quick response to guest needs.
