Domestic ID Business development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Domestic Business Development Manager to expand our market presence across India. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the home décor, furnishings, or flooring industry and a proven track record in sales and channel development. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the Indian domestic market, especially in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.

Key Responsibilities:Business Development & Sales:

• Identify and onboard new B2B customers (retailers, interior designers, architects, dealers, institutional buyers).
• Develop and manage sales channels including distributors, retail outlets, and e-commerce partners.
• Drive revenue growth in assigned territories through strategic partnerships.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Market Expansion & Strategy:

• Research and analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs.
• Develop and implement market entry strategies for untapped regions.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events across India.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts.
• Act as the main point of contact for domestic clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams for order execution, product customization, and after-sales service.

Reporting & Coordination:

• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates.
• Collaborate with the marketing team for domestic promotional campaigns and branding efforts.
• Provide feedback to product development based on market insights.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years in business development or sales, preferably in rugs, home furnishings, flooring, or related sectors.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent network within the domestic décor/furnishings industry.
• Ability to travel extensively across India.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; regional languages are a plus.
