Hi-Tech Applicator is looking for a motivated, self-driven QC Engineer. Job Summary: You will be responsible for all QC-related activities in the Plant. Strong expertise in TPI as well as documents related to the same is required. Experience in Valve and Pipe Industries is preferred. Responsibilities and Duties: - Reviewing documents such as Raw material test certificates, Heat treatment records, Radiographic test film, Manufacturers internal test reports, Calibration records, and Manufacturers test certificate. - Review Welding Procedure, WPS, PQR & Witness Welder Qualification Test. - Witnessing various tests like Tensile Test, Bend Test, Hardness test, Hydro Test, Ultrasonic test, Magnetic Particle test, Dye Penetrant Test, and more. - Testing and inspecting raw materials, in-process material, and finished products. - Conducting destructive testing & evaluating test results. - Ensuring calibration and use of calibrated measuring and test equipment for inspections/tests. - Coordinating with Planning, Production, Dispatch, Marketing Dept., and Third Party Inspection Agency. - Dealing with TPI like BVIS, TPL, TUV, SGS, IRS, etc. - Data Analysis of inspection activities. - Preparing & approving quality documents like QAP, ITP, Process sheet, etc. - Knowledge of standards like ASME, ASTM, ASME SEC. IX, B31.3, NACE, API 2B, API 5L, IS 3589, and all other related to pipe manufacturing standards. Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications: - Should have a degree in B.E Mechanical. - Must have 6 plus years of experience in the same field. - Strong proficiency in documents and third-party inspection regarding QC.
