Document Control Specialist

As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing project-related documents in accordance with company standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, implementing, and maintaining document control procedures and systems. - Receiving, reviewing, and processing project-related documents while ensuring compliance with company standards. - Maintaining accurate records of all company documentation and overseeing version control. - Distributing, tracking, and managing various types of documents such as technical drawings, contracts, manuals, reports, and correspondence. - Ensuring the confidentiality and secure access to sensitive information. - Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other departments to provide necessary documents. - Monitoring deadlines for document submissions and approvals. - Conducting regular audits to ensure document quality, accuracy, and compliance with organizational or industry standards. - Archiving documents and efficiently managing retrieval requests. - Training employees on document management systems and procedures. Required Skills & Competencies: - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents. - Proficiency in document management software such as SharePoint, Aconex, EDMS, and MS Office Suite. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of industry-specific document control standards such as ISO and quality management.
