DM/Manager-Costing of New Technology components (Electrical parts)

As a Development/Purchase & Costing professional with knowledge of Automotive New Technology Components such as Wiring Harness, Lamps, HVAC, Controllers, Wiping System, High Voltage Compressor, ADAS, Sensors, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Costing analysis, quote analysis, developing costing & negotiation strategies, and negotiating with suppliers. - Conducting teardown & functional analysis, cost estimation, part level benchmarking, and techno-commercial comparison for components like Wiring Harness, Lamps, HVAC, Controllers, Wiping System, High Voltage Compressor, ADAS, Sensors. - Performing Vehicle Cost Analysis, understanding P&L, and preparing reports. - Analyzing components in comparison to competitor vehicle parts. - Generating innovative value enhancement and design to cost proposals. - Applying techno-commercial knowledge to components like Wiring Harness, Lamps, HVAC, Controllers, Wiping System, High Voltage Compressor, ADAS, Sensors. - Demonstrating self-initiative, teamwork, and passion for analysis and design intent. - Generating ideas for cost/weight reduction and new technology implementation. - Possessing excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and report writing. In addition to the above responsibilities, having knowledge of Microsoft Power BI will be an added advantage. Your competencies should include: - In-depth technical and commercial knowledge of automotive and electrical systems/subsystems/parts. - Effective planning and scheduling of activities. - Strong communication skills with peers, vendors, and machine makers. - Positive attitude towards new initiatives. In terms of educational qualification, a B.E/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, or Mechatronics would be preferred. As a good team player with sound integrity and good manners, you are expected to exhibit positive behavioral traits in the workplace.,
