DM-Retail Planning & Design

Introduction:

At Kohler Co.,we are a leading global manufacturer in the plumbing industry, known for our high-quality products, innovative designs, and commitment to customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Retail Experience Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the execution of special projects including though not limited to Stores, Office Buildings, Product Labs, New channel Initiatives, brand displays at trade shows for all Kohler products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure best in class retail experience at stores.
• Project management for the Rapid roll outs of renovation stores, New Product Launch, Events and Special Projects.
• Developing project scopes, ensuring design and technical feasibility, involving / Updating all relevant stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans to track progress at all stages of project with progress evaluation, maintain quality norms and detailed reporting.
• Manage audits and communications. Detail evaluation of audits and propose improvements in system.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements, in consultation with procurement team.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, accounting and billings.
• Resolving issues and minimize risk by taking corrective measures.
• Keeping a solution focused manner when investigating problems.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in interior design / architecture / engineering (Civil / Mechanical)
• Proven experience in Retail Design and Execution for various formats, Min 7-8 years.
• Well-versed in design and construction methodologies/procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of external vendors to achieve the best results.
• Familiarity with construction/ project management software
• Communication skills able to adjust for the audience – from shop floor to board room (written and verbal).
• Proficient in English. Frequent travels are required.
