Job Summary:

The District/Block Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and coordinating all project activities at the district/block level. The role requires close liaison with government departments, Panchayati Raj Institutions, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and community members to ensure effective delivery of services and program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:For District Coordinator:

  • Supervise and support Block Coordinators and field staff across all blocks in the district.
  • Coordinate with District Administration and line departments for program implementation.
  • Monitor progress of project activities and ensure timely reporting.
  • Conduct capacity-building programs for block teams and community groups.
  • Maintain documentation, success stories, and MIS at the district level.
  • Ensure convergence with government schemes and ensure community participation.
  • Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly progress reports to the state team.

For Block Coordinator:

  • Implement project activities at the block and panchayat level.
  • Mobilize community members, SHGs, and youth for participation in project activities.
  • Support data collection, surveys, and monitoring of ongoing programs.
  • Coordinate with Gram Panchayats and local government officials.
  • Ensure field-level documentation, reporting, and timely implementation.
  • Facilitate awareness campaigns, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Sociology, or related fields.
  • District Coordinator: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in development sector or government projects.
  • Block Coordinator: Minimum 1–3 years of grassroots experience, preferably in rural settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively in rural areas.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, MIS reporting tools).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,327.87 - ₹25,613.74 per month
