District Coordinator

As an Operations Manager for a large-scale agroforestry project in Gurdaspur, your role will involve farmer engagement, team management, and technical oversight of plantation activities. You will be responsible for mobilizing and engaging farmers, leading a field team, managing procurement and quality control of seedlings & fertilizers, as well as ensuring documentation and compliance with project standards. Key Responsibilities: - Mobilize and engage farmers, conduct village awareness meetings. - Lead a field team of 10+, supervise daily plantation activities. - Manage procurement and quality control of seedlings & fertilizers. - Ensure documentation and compliance with project standards. Requirements: - Experience in agroforestry & rural programs. - Fluency in Punjabi; with a strong local presence. - Proficient in MS Excel & reporting. In this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree (Preferred) and at least 2 years of experience in Agriculture, Field sales, and Agroforestry. Being located in Gurdaspur, Punjab is required, and you should be willing to travel up to 75% of the time. The job type is Full-time and the work location is in person.
