As an Operations Manager for a large-scale agroforestry project in Gurdaspur, you will be responsible for overseeing the on-ground execution from start to finish. Your role will encompass engaging with farmers, managing a field team, and ensuring the technical aspects of the plantation activities are up to standard. Your key responsibilities will include mobilizing and engaging farmers through village awareness meetings, leading a team of 10 or more individuals, supervising daily plantation activities, managing the procurement and quality control of seedlings and fertilizers, as well as ensuring proper documentation and compliance with project standards. To excel in this role, you should have prior experience in agroforestry and rural programs, fluency in Punjabi with a strong local presence, and proficiency in MS Excel and reporting. The job is full-time with a schedule that may require day, evening, or morning shifts.
