Dispatch Supervisor

You will be the Dispatch Supervisor responsible for overseeing the dispatch operations at our manufacturing unit. Your main focus will be to ensure the timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of goods by coordinating with production and transport teams. Your role is crucial in maintaining smooth outbound logistics and high levels of customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include supervising and managing the daily dispatch operations, coordinating with production, inventory, and transport teams, preparing dispatch schedules and shipment plans, and ensuring accurate documentation for all outgoing goods. You will also monitor vehicle movements, track deliveries, manage a team of dispatch clerks, loaders, and drivers, optimize loading plans, liaise with transport vendors, and ensure packaging and loading are done as per requirements. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree or diploma with at least 3-5 years of experience in dispatch or logistics supervision, preferably in a manufacturing environment. You must possess strong knowledge of dispatch procedures, transportation laws, and inventory systems, along with excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills. You should be able to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment. This position is full-time and permanent, with a day shift and fixed shift schedule. You may be required to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays during high-demand periods. The job is primarily based at the manufacturing facility and involves coordination with transport yards and administrative offices.
