We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dispatch Supervisor to oversee the dispatch operations of our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of goods, while coordinating with production and transport teams. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth outbound logistics and maintaining customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage daily dispatch operations from the manufacturing unit. Coordinate with production, inventory, and transport teams to ensure timely dispatches. Prepare and maintain dispatch schedules and shipment plans. Ensure accurate documentation for all outgoing goods (e.g., invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills). Monitor vehicle movements, track deliveries, and resolve issues or delays in real time. Manage a team of dispatch clerks, loaders, and drivers ensuring compliance with safety and efficiency standards. Optimize loading plans based on order priority and vehicle capacity. Liaise with transport vendors to ensure vehicle availability and cost efficiency. Ensure packaging and loading are done as per product and customer requirements. Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory compliances related to dispatch and logistics. Address and resolve any customer complaints related to dispatch/delivery delays. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree or diploma. 3–5 years of experience in dispatch or logistics supervision, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of dispatch procedures, transportation laws, and inventory systems. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and team management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Working Conditions: Primarily based at the manufacturing facility. May require working extended hours, weekends, or holidays during high-demand periods. Involves coordination with transport yards, and administrative offices.
