Role Overview: The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all dispatch activities in the godown, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient movement of goods. This role requires coordinating with the warehouse, logistics, owners to meet customer requirements, maintain records, and supervise dispatch staff. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and supervise daily dispatch operations from the godown. Ensure all customer orders are packed, labeled, and dispatched accurately and on time. Monitor vehicle scheduling, loading, and routing to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Maintain accurate records of dispatches, invoices, transport documents, and delivery challans. Coordinate with transporters and drivers for timely vehicle availability. Supervise the dispatch staff and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company policies. Inspect outgoing consignments to ensure compliance with quality and quantity standards. Handle issues related to delays, shortages, damages, or incorrect deliveries. Work closely with the warehouse team to align stock availability with dispatch requirements. Prepare daily/weekly dispatch reports for management review. Ensure proper housekeeping and safe handling of goods in the dispatch area.
