Dispatch Assistant

Role Overview: As a Dispatch Assistant, your role is crucial in ensuring the safe, accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of all orders. Your support to drivers and dispatchers is essential for the smooth operation of the delivery process. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure each customer receives outstanding service - Provide accurate and efficient record-keeping for all delivery orders - Complete administrative duties as required - Answer phones and respond to customer requests - Address customers" inquiries and provide information on delivery times, trucking details, and policies - Accurately complete daily balancing and closing tasks - Communicate with the Yard department regarding order preparation, inventory issues, vehicle loading, etc. - Coordinate with Sales and Purchasing departments for delivery, pick-up, or transfer orders - Maintain office cleanliness standards - Adhere to all health and safety procedures Qualifications Required: - Experience in a similar role for at least 1 year - Proficiency in communication and customer service - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of administrative tasks and record-keeping The company also offers the following benefits to employees: - Cell phone reimbursement - Provident Fund - Performance bonus - Yearly bonus This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule and fixed shifts.
