Director Strategic Planning

Role Overview: You will be responsible for driving growth and strategic opportunities by institutionalizing a strong ideation MOS in partnership with CE&S Offering Management team and key global stakeholders. Your role will involve building a strong pipeline of BTI and NPI ideas through innovation hackathons and ideation sessions, applying Offering Management tools to identify customer needs, and developing compelling value propositions and user experience roadmaps. Additionally, you will be expected to build an open innovation culture through engagement with external startup ecosystem and academic institutions, prioritize growth investments based on GBE priorities, and drive the community of practice initiative for tangible business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Institutionalize strong ideation MOS in partnership with CE&S Offering Management team - Build a pipeline of BTI and NPI ideas through innovation hackathons and ideation sessions - Apply Offering Management tools to identify customer needs and assess market positioning - Develop compelling value propositions and user experience roadmaps - Engage with external startup ecosystem and academic institutions for open innovation culture - Prioritize growth investments based on short term and long-term GBE priorities - Drive community of practice initiative for future-ready capabilities Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent - Minimum of 15+ years of product development experience with 4-5 years in leadership positions - Experience in introducing new products to the market, design thinking, and go-to-market strategies - Strong tactical and strategic skills - Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to various audiences, including executives About the Company: Honeywell helps organizations solve complex challenges in automation, aviation, and energy transition.
