Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and innovative Director of Product Management (Growth) to lead the development and growth of our Student Learning Platform from a Free User perspective. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of product managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a compelling, effective, and scalable platform that enhances free learner engagement experiences and journeys leading to product purchase. The key part of this role would be to lead the product vision and strategy for the Growth platform, driving Reach (top of the funnel) through various assets such as Learner App, School App, Website, and Youtube and Revenue through self-checkout products, Key Responsibilities:Define the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Free Learner platform and self check-out products.Own key business metrics of Organic Leads, CVR%, Revenue of Unassisted sales (self check-out products) Lead, mentor, and manage a team of product managers to execute on product initiatives.Collaborate with stakeholders including students, marketing, engineering, and sales to gather requirements and prioritize features.Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to identify new opportunities and ensure competitive differentiation.Oversee the product lifecycle from concept through launch, iterating based on user feedback and analytics.Drive user engagement, retention, and satisfaction through innovative feature development and platform improvements.Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate product performance and success.Act as the voice of the customer, advocating for the needs and experiences of learners .Parameters for a Good FitProven experience (8+ years) in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.The ideal candidate would have worked with platforms that involve engagement and conversion of leads through learner journeys on product. Cars24, Pharmeasy are good examples of these platforms. High transaction and impulse sales platforms are unlikely to fit the bill.Proven track record of driving lead and sales through product interventionsProven track record in building and scaling consumer-facing digital products.Knowledge of learning platforms, digital education tools, or SaaS products are only a plus.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic roadmaps.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.Bachelor`s degree in Education, Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.Preferred Skills:Experience with AI, adaptive learning, or personalized education technologies.Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development tools.Strong experience with customer engagement/marketing automation tools (CleverTap, MoEngage, WebEngage, Braze, etc.)Passion for education and enhancing student outcomes through technology.
