Director/Principal – School of Pharmacy

Location: NIILM University, Kaithal, Haryana

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

· Ph.D. in Pharmacy or relevant specialization from a recognized university.

· Minimum 10 years of academic/administrative/industry experience in Pharmacy, with a strong track record in teaching, research, and leadership.

· Must meet PCI/UGC norms as applicable.

· Proven record of guiding research scholars, funded projects, and publications in reputed journals.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide strategic leadership and overall administration of the School of Pharmacy.

· Ensure compliance with PCI, UGC, and university regulations for academic quality and governance.

· Lead curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and academic innovations in Pharmacy education.

· Mentor and supervise faculty members, research scholars, and students.

· Foster collaborations with hospitals, research institutes, and pharmaceutical industries.

· Promote research, consultancy, and community outreach in the field of Pharmacy.

· Oversee admissions, examinations, placements, and overall student development.

· Represent the School of Pharmacy in academic councils, regulatory bodies, and university committees.

· Drive accreditation, ranking, and quality assurance initiatives.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills

· Strong leadership, administrative, and decision-making abilities.

· Extensive knowledge of Pharmacy education, research, and industry trends.

· Excellent communication, networking, and mentoring skills.

· Proven experience in handling regulatory compliance and accreditation processes.

· Ability to build partnerships with industry and healthcare organizations.
