Job Description

Fotato is a fast-growing food delivery platform that is revolutionizing the way users explore and order food online. As Fotato expands its reach to Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities, we are in search of a dynamic and analytical Director of Marketing who will be instrumental in steering customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and brand positioning strategies. Your primary responsibilities will include: Growth & Performance Marketing: - Spearhead user acquisition strategies utilizing various paid media channels such as Google Ads, Meta, programmatic, influencer, and affiliate marketing. - Focus on optimizing key metrics including Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). - Develop and implement SEO & ASO tactics to boost organic traffic to both the app and website. - Implement growth hacking techniques to expedite the growth of new user sign-ups. Brand & Communication Strategy: - Define and implement Fotato's brand positioning and messaging to establish a unique identity amidst competitors like Swiggy, Zomato, and Uber Eats. - Oversee both Above-The-Line (ATL) marketing activities such as TV, Radio, OOH as well as Below-The-Line (BTL) campaigns like on-ground activations and influencer marketing. - Drive social media engagement, PR initiatives, and collaborate with influencers to reinforce brand recall. CRM, Retention & Loyalty: - Develop and refine customer retention, loyalty, and engagement programs. - Create personalized marketing campaigns based on data insights across various communication channels including email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging. - Enhance customer retention rates, repeat order frequency, and Lifetime Value (LTV) through targeted engagement strategies. Partnerships & Strategic Alliances: - Establish co-marketing partnerships with restaurant brands, FMCG companies, fintech firms, and loyalty programs. - Identify and execute strategic alliances that boost customer engagement and order volume. Data & Insights-Driven Marketing: - Take charge of marketing analytics, campaign performance tracking, and dashboard reporting. - Utilize data-driven insights to enhance user acquisition, conversion rates, and retention efforts. - Collaborate closely with Product & Tech teams to enhance user experience and optimize the marketing funnel. Leadership & Team Management: - Lead and mentor a team spanning growth, brand, digital, and CRM functions. - Work collaboratively with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to align marketing efforts with overarching business objectives. Your success in this role will be measured by key performance indicators including: - New user acquisition & app installs - Optimization of CAC & ROAS - Monthly Active Users (MAU) & Daily Active Users (DAU) - Customer Retention & Repeat Order Frequency - Contribution to GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) growth - Brand Awareness & Market Share Growth Qualifications & Experience: - 8-12 years of hands-on experience in Performance Marketing, Growth, Brand, or Digital Marketing roles. - Proven track record in scaling user acquisition and retention within a high-growth consumer tech environment. - Expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, ASO, and CRM automation tools. - Strong analytical acumen with prior experience in marketing analytics and A/B testing. - Demonstrated leadership skills in managing diverse marketing teams. Preferred qualifications include: - Prior experience in food delivery, e-commerce, or quick commerce sectors. - Background in hyperlocal and city-based marketing strategies. - Practical exposure to restaurant partnerships and influencer collaborations.
