Director of Internal Audit

As the Internal Audit Partner, you will lead the Internal Audit vertical in Mumbai. Your responsibilities include strategizing, resource planning, and acquiring new clients to drive revenue growth. You will oversee internal audit, risk assessment, and compliance engagements across various sectors, ensuring they are risk-focused and aligned with client objectives and regulatory requirements. You will also act as a trusted advisor to CXOs and boards, providing insights on governance, controls, and operational efficiency. Moreover, you will ensure adherence to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and the firm's quality framework, reviewing audit reports for accuracy and actionable recommendations. In addition to your leadership role, you will mentor, train, and inspire audit professionals, fostering a culture of integrity and excellence within the team. The ideal candidate for this position should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) or hold an equivalent professional certification (CIA, CPA preferred) with at least 15 years of experience in internal audit, risk advisory, or assurance, including 5 years in a leadership capacity. You should possess a strong understanding of risk-based audit methodologies, governance frameworks, and compliance regulations.
