Director of Hotel Development

You will play a crucial role as the Director of Development at Clarks Hotels & Resorts, overseeing the expansion efforts in Southern India, specifically based in Bangalore. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Sourcing new hotel leads for management contracts and franchise agreements - Negotiating deal terms, such as revenue-share models and signing fees - Building and maintaining a robust network with real estate brokers, property consultants, and hotel owners - Managing the end-to-end process of hotel onboarding from lead generation to contract finalization - Presenting The Clarks" value proposition to potential hotel owners and investors - Monitoring regional competition and identifying market opportunities in key cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chennai, and Goa To qualify for this role, you should have: - 7+ years of experience in hotel development, ideally in a similar role within a hotel chain - Demonstrated success in executing hotel management and franchise contracts - A strong network of contacts in South India's hotel industry - Experience in negotiating revenue-share or hybrid hotel agreements - Exceptional business acumen and negotiation skills - Willingness to travel across the region as required Additionally, a background that includes previous work at a mid-scale or premium hospitality chain, knowledge of regulatory requirements and licensing processes in hotel projects, and an MBA or graduate degree in Hospitality, Real Estate, or Business would be advantageous.,
