Director of Catering Sales

You will function as the business leader of the property's Catering Sales Department at The St. Regis, Mumbai. Your main responsibilities will include managing both reactive and proactive catering sales efforts, with the shared goal of achieving revenue targets, ensuring guest and associate satisfaction, and enhancing the department's financial performance. It will be crucial for you to implement the brand's service strategy and relevant initiatives across all stages of the sales process. In this role, you will provide day-to-day leadership to a team of catering sales associates based on the property. Collaborating with key stakeholders within the Area Sales team, you will receive warm leads for further qualification of the business opportunities for the property. Additionally, you will work closely with Event Management and hotel operations to promote and sell products and services that align with the hotel's capabilities and standards. A key aspect of your role will be to ensure a seamless turnover process from sales to operations and back to sales, maintaining a consistently high level of service delivery throughout. You will also be responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities through effective up-selling techniques and accurate forecasting, particularly for catering and group room bookings related to events.
