Director of Analytics

You will be joining a high-growth startup with a focus on building products that impact millions of users daily. As the Director of Analytics, your role will involve leading the charge in shaping the data strategy, creating scalable infrastructure, and establishing a high-performing analytics organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the redesign and optimization of the next generation Data Mart to support large-scale analytics and faster decision-making. - Define tools & frameworks for data creation, transformation, and consumption company-wide. - Integrate behavioral and transactional data into structured, query-optimized flat tables to support diverse analytics use cases. - Own analytics across mobile, web, marketing, product, and operations data streams, ensuring consistent data definitions and scalability. - Partner with various teams to democratize and make data actionable. - Establish data governance, quality standards, and best practices. - Drive adoption of self-service analytics and provide teams with the right dashboards, reporting, and insights. - Collaborate with product and engineering to introduce and scale ML-driven insights. - Build and mentor a cross-functional analytics team covering various analytics functions. - Ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency of the data infrastructure in collaboration with engineering leadership. **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years of experience in data & analytics leadership. - Proven success in building data marts and defining enterprise-wide data consumption strategies. - Strong technical expertise in data modeling, flat table structures, and query optimization for large-scale systems. - Hands-on experience with both behavioral and transactional data integration. - Knowledge of modern data stack including SQL, ETL/ELT, cloud data warehouses, and BI tools. - Familiarity with machine learning workflows and guiding data scientists in building predictive/ML models. - Ability to build and scale analytics teams across various functions. - Strong business acumen translating data into actionable insights. ,
