Job Description

As a Sales Director at Marriott International, your role involves providing leadership and direction to a team of sales associates in South & East India to achieve revenue goals for domestic business. Your responsibilities include setting sales targets by hotel, leading the team to achieve revenue and market share goals, and ensuring successful execution of sales strategy for hotels. You will collaborate with Sales Leaders and General Managers to drive sales and revenue, liaise with property sales teams, and develop strong partnerships with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement the overall sales strategy for South & East India - Ensure total account penetration and timely implementation of sales initiatives - Set performance targets for the team to drive revenue and grow account share - Build relationships with vendors and partners to expand brand exposure - Stay updated on industry developments to provide relevant direction Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 12 years of sales and marketing experience - Experience in Total Account Management and team management - Preferred qualifications include a relevant degree, hospitality sales experience, and proficiency in English and local languages In this role, you will also be responsible for managing and directing the sales team, promoting accountability for superior business results, and overseeing business development goals. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to maximize benefits, develop market strategies, and support the overall market goals in South & East India. Additionally, you will lead human resources initiatives, celebrate successes, and ensure open communication within the team.
