Director - Legal - LLB

As a Legal Counsel at our company, you will face new challenges daily, requiring you to manage a demanding workload efficiently. Your responsibilities will include leading commercial legal negotiations, drafting and reviewing various contracts, providing legal advice on commercial matters, managing legal risks, ensuring compliance, and handling corporate governance and compliance for our operations in India. You must possess an LLB from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law, with at least 16 years of relevant experience, preferably in an in-house role. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are crucial as you will be leading a team while also handling negotiations and other matters independently. Your commitment to practical and commercially-oriented judgment in solving legal problems is paramount, along with sound business acumen aligned with our business goals. As a problem solver with strong multitasking abilities, you will be tasked with managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changes within our growing company. Your exceptional attention to detail, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills will be essential in your role. Staying current on laws and regulations related to software as a service and B2B technology is crucial, along with maintaining a high level of integrity and professional ethics. Your role will also involve collaborating with various business functions, advising sales management, conducting legal research, assisting in mergers and acquisitions, providing legal advice on employee matters, handling regional litigation and disputes, and ensuring legal compliance across all aspects of our operations.
