Director - IT Infrastructure

Strategic Leadership:

• Define and execute the IT infrastructure strategy aligned with organizational goals and digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead the modernization of infrastructure through cloud adoption, automation, and platform optimization.
• Establish IT policies, governance, and standards ensuring scalability, resilience, and compliance.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to identify infrastructure opportunities that improve efficiency and agility.

Infrastructure Operations:

• Oversee global IT operations, including data centers, networks, servers, storage, and end-user computing.
• Ensure infrastructure uptime, performance, and disaster recovery capabilities meet or exceed SLAs.
• Manage hybrid and multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) to ensure cost efficiency and performance optimization.
• Direct security, compliance, and risk management initiatives in collaboration with the CISO.
• AI Agent Initiatives and LEadershio

Innovation & Transformation:

• Drive automation, observability, and AI-driven operations (AIOps) to improve service delivery.
• Lead digital transformation projects involving infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and DevOps integration.
• Promote adoption of emerging technologies (edge computing, zero-trust networks, SD-WAN, etc.).

Team & Vendor Management:

• Lead a global team of IT infrastructure professionals, fostering innovation, accountability, and excellence.
• Develop succession plans, mentoring, and leadership programs to build high-performing teams.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and managed services.
• Oversee IT budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization across infrastructure services.

Business Continuity & Compliance:

• Ensure robust business continuity, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Regularly assess and mitigate technology risks.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 15+ years of IT experience with at least 7 years in a senior infrastructure leadership role.
• Proven success in leading enterprise-scale infrastructure operations and modernization programs.
• Expertise in:
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hybrid environments.
• Networking, virtualization, and cybersecurity frameworks.
• ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and strategic vendor management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Executive certifications such as ITIL Expert, PMP, CISSP, or Azure/AWS Cloud Architect.
• Experience leading global teams across multiple time zones.
• Prior experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, manufacturing).
