Job Description

As the Director Internal Control SoD and IT Risk at Volvo Group, you will play a crucial role in driving and enhancing the internal control work within the organization, with a specific focus on Segregation of Duties, Critical Access, and IT processes related to risk over financial reporting. You will have the opportunity to work with a forward-thinking team at Volvo Group Headquarters, dedicated to excellence and innovation. Your main responsibilities will include: - Defining group requirements and scope for evaluation activities - Analyzing results from evaluations and contributing to reporting to Management and Audit Committee - Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external auditors - Participating in continuous improvement activities - Driving identification of risks and designing and implementing controls for key financial processes and systems - Conducting training for stakeholders, defining instructions, and overseeing evaluation activities - Mapping IT systems to transaction level controls - Maintaining the definition of Financially Critical Applications and ensuring harmonized classification of applications To be successful in this role, you should have a relevant university degree and extensive experience in internal control over financial reporting. Experience in a consultancy or audit firm is advantageous. Deep knowledge in Segregation of Duties, Access Management, IT General Controls, and external audit is required, along with experience in the design, implementation, and evaluation of controls.
