As the Head of the School of Law, your role involves providing academic and administrative leadership to the School of Law. You will drive innovation and quality in teaching, research, and community engagement. Your key responsibilities include: - Developing and executing strategic plans to enhance the school's national and global standing. - Fostering a culture of research excellence and supporting faculty in publishing in top-tier journals and securing funded research projects. - Strengthening student outcomes through career services, internships, and moot court exposure. - Leading curriculum development aligned with Bar Council of India (BCI) and regulatory requirements. - Establishing and expanding partnerships with law firms, corporates, NGOs, and international institutions. - Driving admissions growth through effective outreach, branding, and engagement strategies. - Ensuring compliance with academic, regulatory, and quality standards set by statutory bodies. - Encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration and thought leadership in legal education and practice. - Enhancing alumni relations for mentorship, networking, and placement support. Qualifications & Experience required for this position include: - Ph.D. in Law or a relevant legal discipline from a recognized institution. - Minimum 3 years of academic leadership experience (as Dean, Director, or HOD) and at least 15 years of overall relevant experience. - Recognized contributions to legal research with publications in reputed journals. - Proven experience in academic planning, faculty development, and institutional growth. - Familiarity with legal education regulations and accreditation processes (e.g., BCI, NAAC). - Industry or legal practice exposure will be considered an added advantage.
