We are looking for a passionate, talented, and adaptable strategic thought leader to craft and deliver program initiatives across acquisition experiences that enable our customers to apply for American Express products with the least amount of effort, wherever and however they choose to apply The role will initially lead a team of subject matter experts in solution design, user-facing capabilities and product operations bringing together key stakeholders and decision makers across various Product, Technology and BU partner teams This role will engage and collaborate with teams across the Enterprise to identify opportunities for centralizing processes, build, scale and maintain capabilities and tools to reduce journey friction, support journey teams goals, improve efficiency and reduce time to market The leader will be responsible for establishing an enterprise platform vision, enhance the product roadmaps, and ensuring teams & products evolved in-line with the platform strategy The role will communicate regularly with Directors and Vice Presidents across organizations to effectively bring others along while holding teams accountable to the broader strategy You have a real passion for using technology to build user-centric solutions to challenging problems, for bold decision-making, and for digital innovation You enjoy being challenged and being part of a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive team, and you seek every opportunity to learn Role & Responsibilities: Define the foundational acquisition journey (starting with shopping experience) product vision, strategy, and roadmap for International Markets. Define, build, and maintain capabilities to deliver offer and content personalization roadmap for international market to improve application rates. Manage anti-gaming capabilities to ensure profitable acquisition of new prospects for international markets. Continuously improve the application experience and develop innovative features to reduce friction, drive up complete/approval rates and generate incremental revenue. Plan and lead the migration of markets from the legacy applications to the dynamic application experience by setting up a program. Owning key stakeholder relationships across journey experience, compliance, engineering, and program management. Owning product discovery by forming hypotheses, defining objectives and key results, and assessing options that best balance cost-benefit to achieve defined outcomes. Engage, lead, and develop a global team of Product Owners, Analysts and User Experience Designers Continuously identify opportunities for customer experience improvement through analytics and experimentation and by keeping up to date with industry, competitor trends and best practices. Partnering with Solution Managers to define scalable solutions that meet current and future product needs. Delivering your goals and outcomes throughout the product lifecycle, partnering with Release Train Engineer to manage cross-team dependencies. Improving efficiency of planning and delivery by contributing to process and working practice improvements. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to manage and drive complex and high-profile projects end-to-end and provide regular communications to a diverse set of stakeholders and senior leaders Experience with design thinking, consultancy and effective storytelling to enable collaboration with partners Extensive Product Management experience in an Agile environment (7+ years) and with Data products and platforms. Proven ability to craft, drive, and maintain a product vision, strategy, and prioritized backlog. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Able to simplify complex ideas, navigate cross-functional teams and build relationships, influence decisions, and deliver on shared objectives. Ability to influence stakeholders at and above band level based on aligned principles, data driven analysis, and appropriate escalation Ability to coach and motivate a product team and foster a diverse and inclusive team culture, encouraging input from all team members. Ability to self-start, carve opportunities out of ambiguity, and operate with a high degree of independence. Experience running cross-team Discovery for new products and product enhancements. Experience working in a regulated environment with an understanding of compliance, control, data governance and integrity processes is a plus. A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen. Minimum: Bachelors degree.
