Role Overview

Direct Taxation

Key Responsibilities

• Manage

  income tax assessments

  , reassessments, and departmental inquiries.
• Prepare and draft responses to

  notices, submissions, and appeals

  before tax authorities.
• Assist in

  tax litigation

  including preparation of appeal papers for CIT(A), ITAT, and coordination with legal counsel.
• Handle

  tax audits

  , computation of taxable income, and filing of income tax returns.
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all

  direct tax regulations

• Conduct research on tax issues, circulars, case laws, and amendments.
• Provide internal teams with tax insights and support during financial planning.
• Liaise with tax authorities and represent the company in hearings.
• Maintain documentation and records for assessments and litigations.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  Income Tax Act

  , case laws, and taxation procedures.
• Hands-on experience in

  litigation support

  and assessment handling.
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, taxation software, and e-filing portals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
