Job Description

Diploma Engineers

Key Responsibilities

Assist in day-to-day quality inspection activities in fabrication and assembly areas.
Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of fabricated components as per drawings and standards.
Verify welding quality, material thickness, surface finish, and alignment during fabrication.
Maintain and update inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
Support the implementation of quality standards (ISO / ASME / relevant standards).
Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues on the shop floor.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action for non-conformances.
Monitor use of calibrated measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Welding Gauges, etc.).
Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.

Skills Required

Basic knowledge of fabrication processes (welding, cutting, machining, assembly).
Familiarity with inspection tools and measuring instruments.
Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T basics, and tolerances.
Knowledge of basic quality standards (ISO 9001, ASME, AWS preferred).
Good communication and reporting skills.
Willingness to learn and work in a shop-floor environment.
