Job Description

Role Overview: You will be participating in Value Analysis Value Engineering projects (VA-VE) and Cost reduction projects at Magna Powertrain. Your main responsibilities will include digitalization of Engineering projects, benchmarking, data acquisition, data analytics, and tech evaluation. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in Value Analysis Value Engineering projects (VA-VE) & Cost reduction projects - Conduct benchmarking, data acquisition, data analytics, and tech evaluation for Engineering projects - Create reports for Teardown and Virtual benchmark - Screen market data and use data to automate/ derive competitor information - Support Project Manager in identifying project needs and ensure execution of engineering projects to achieve defined targets - Coordinate Engineering sub-project team and ensure resource planning - Promote process adherence and continuous improvement Qualifications Required: - BE / BTech/ ME/ MTech in Automobile, Mech/ Prod/ Electrical/ Electronics - 4 - 8 years of work experience - Knowledge of vehicle and vehicle systems - Familiarity with library tools like Caresoft and A2MAC1 - Proficiency in MS OFFICE Additional Details: Magna Powertrain is dedicated to transforming mobility and creating world-class powertrain systems for the automotive industry.
