Role Overview: As a Digital Software Engineer Analyst at Citigroup, you will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data in the digital software engineering domain. Your role will involve identifying policy gaps, formulating policies, interpreting data, making recommendations, and researching factual information. You will collaborate with software engineers and technical teams to analyze user requirements, specifications, and business needs for digital software projects. Key Responsibilities: - Identify problems, questions, or situations to directly influence development outcomes using established criteria. - Support the collaboration with software engineers and technical teams to analyze user requirements, specifications, and business needs for digital software projects. - Assist in the development, design, construction, testing, and implementation of digital software applications by writing secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code. - Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities to ensure the quality performance and reliability of digital software applications. - Understand the business context and customer use cases associated with digital software projects. - Participate in design sessions, provide inputs for design decisions, and evaluate system designs and architecture. - Seek guidance from peers or managers for items not outlined in operating procedures. - Provide inputs for building project development schedules and feature prioritization. - Successfully complete assessment tests or certifications to demonstrate technical expertise on development platforms. - Appropriately assess risk in business decisions and drive compliance with laws, rules, and regulations to safeguard Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Qualifications: - 5-9 years of experience in an Apps Development role with demonstrated execution capabilities. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven and results-oriented approach. - Experience in running high traffic, distributed, cloud-based services and affecting large culture change. - Experience leading infrastructure programs and working with third-party service providers. - Excellent written and oral communication skills.
