Role Overview:

Platform Lead

The Platform Lead will partner with business leaders, product owners, and engineering teams to create resilient, scalable, and user-centric platforms that power energy transition, digital products, and advanced analytics across JSW Energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Strategy & Architecture

• Lead architecture, design, and development of scalable platforms to support business-critical applications, digital products, and data-driven solutions.
• Define platform standards, governance, and best practices aligned with security, compliance, and enterprise architecture guidelines.

• Product Development & Innovation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into platform capabilities and digital products.
• Champion a

  product-first approach

  by ensuring platforms are modular, reusable, and designed for scalability and user experience.
• Drive innovation by adopting emerging technologies and exploring new product opportunities.

• Problem Solving & Execution

• Solve complex platform and integration challenges with a hands-on approach.
• Guide the team in identifying bottlenecks, resolving production issues, and optimizing system performance.
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform sustainability.

• Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor and lead engineering teams in platform design, product development, and agile practices.
• Partner with business stakeholders to align platform capabilities with strategic goals.
• Promote a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and customer-centric innovation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Education:

  BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Experience Range:

  1015 years with at least 4+ years in platform/product leadership roles.

• Technical Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in

  platform architecture, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications

  (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience in

  data engineering, MLOps, or advanced analytics platforms

  is an advantage.
• Proven experience in

  CI/CD, DevOps, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API management

  .
• Understanding of

  security, compliance, and scalable enterprise platforms

  .
• Hands-on expertise with Generative AI (GenAI) / Agentic AI platforms and integration into enterprise products and solutions.

• Product Development Mindset:

• Demonstrated success in building digital products or platforms with measurable business impact.
• Strong user-centric and business-oriented thinking.
• Skills in

  business value baselining

  and

  product/solution benchmarking

  to drive adoption and measurable outcomes.

• Problem-Solving Skills:

• Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop innovative, practical solutions.
• Track record of firefighting production issues and guiding teams to resolution.
