Role Overview

As a City Head – Monetization, you will spearhead advertising sales, brand partnerships,

and monetization strategies for your city. This role demands strategic leadership and strong

Ad Sales acumen with a sharp focus on regional and hyperlocal advertisers. You will be

responsible for building and scaling the city-level Ad Sales business, onboarding

high-potential local brands, and ensuring impactful campaign delivery across digital and offline

formats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management

Lead and mentor a city-level Brand/Ad Sales team.

Drive a culture of ownership, performance, and customer-first execution.

  • Ad Sales & Brand Partnerships

Identify, acquire, and grow partnerships with regional and hyperlocal brands

across categories such as F&B, retail, healthcare, fitness, education, beauty, and

services.

Monetize digital ad spaces (in-app banners, push notifications, approval

screens, forums) and on-ground formats (lift branding, kiosks, sampling,

resident engagement events, OOH/DOOH).

Build strong advertiser relationships to maximize campaign frequency,

renewals, and revenue growth.

  • Campaign Planning & Execution Ensure ROI, lead generation, visibility, and resident engagement goals are

achieved.

Share performance reports and insights with clients to build trust and ensure

repeat business.

  • Market Growth & Hyperlocal Focus

Expand city-level monetization by onboarding local businesses and regional

advertisers targeting premium gated communities.

Analyze city-specific consumer trends and design localized monetization

strategies.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in Advertising Sales, Brand Partnerships, or Media Sales.

  • At least 3–4 years of team management experience in sales leadership.

  • Proven success in closing hyperlocal/regional ad sales deals and scaling advertiser

relationships.

  • Strong network of local advertisers, media buyers, and agency partners.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with ability to track campaign performance and optimize.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and growth orientation.
