Description
We’re looking for a Digital Health Communications Intern with strong skills in medical writing, content editing, and media creation to support our growing health-tech platform. You will work at the intersection of healthcare, digital engagement, and community building — helping us reach both patients and clinical professionals through compelling, medically accurate content. This is a remote internship open to applicants based in India , ideally suited for someone with a background in communication, health journalism, medical writing, or public health , eager to contribute to global digital health initiatives. 🩺 Your Responsibilities Manage and respond to website inquiry forms and patient messages Edit and repurpose content (articles, videos, infographics) for platforms like YouTube and Instagram Create bite-sized, engaging health content for social media (reels, carousels, captions) Design and publish a bimonthly newsletter tailored to patients and clinical communities Moderate a professional medical community channel (Slack, WhatsApp, or other forums) Assist in content calendar planning and digital campaign support ✅ Who You Are Strong communicator with a foundation in healthcare/medical/science writing Hands-on experience with tools like Canva, Filmora, Adobe Premiere, or similar Comfortable editing and publishing content on Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc. Organized, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote, asynchronous team 🧰 Skills & Tools We Expect You to Know (Basic to Medium Proficiency) Writing: Medical/scientific articles, social captions, patient-friendly summaries Graphic Tools: Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (basic layouts, infographics) Video Tools: Filmora, Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar (simple edits, trimming) Email Platforms: Mailchimp, Substack, Brevo, or others Familiarity with community platforms like Slack, Discord, or private Facebook Groups 🔍 Internship Details Location: Remote (India only) Duration: 2–3 months (possible extension/full-time opportunity) Start Date: Flexible, preferably within 4–6 weeks Stipend: Available (based on contribution) Commitment: 15–20 hours/week (flexible timing) 🚀 Why Join Us?
