Job Description

This role involves the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in defining, configuring and deploying industrial digital technologies (including but not limited to PLM and MES) for managing continuity of information across the engineering enterprise, including design, industrialization, manufacturing and supply chain, and for managing the manufacturing data.

Join us in transforming manufacturing operations through cutting-edge IT/OT integration. As an IT/OT Architect, youll lead the design and implementation of robust, secure, and scalable technology solutions that bridge the gap between information technology and operational technology.

Your Role

As an IT/OT Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing integrated IT/OT architectures that enhance manufacturing efficiency and reliability. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and alignment with business goals.

In this role, you will:

Design and implement IT/OT architectures tailored to manufacturing environments.
Evaluate and select technologies for system development and integration.
Integrate IT systems with OT platforms such as SCADA, PLCs, MES, and ERP.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and developers.
Document architecture, design decisions, and implementation strategies.
Ensure quality standards and best practices in system integration.
Implement cybersecurity measures across IT and OT systems.
Lead IT/OT projects from conception to delivery.

Your Profile

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT/OT architecture, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, MES, ERP systems, and Microsoft Azure.
Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Proven experience in managing large-scale IT/OT projects.
In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles.
Adaptability to evolving technologies and industry trends.
Certifications such as TOGAF, Microsoft Azure Architect, or relevant IT/OT credentials.
Familiarity with the metal manufacturing industry is a plus.
