Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for a Digital Content Creator. The Digital Content Creator will be responsible for creating engaging digital content, including written, visual, and multimedia materials. Daily tasks include planning content strategies, creating and editing content, managing social media accounts, collaborating with team members, and staying updated on digital marketing trends to enhance online presence and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and publish high-quality video content including Instagram Reels, Stories, and feed posts
• Develop and execute a content calendar aligned with brand objectives and audience interests
• Edit raw footage into polished, on-brand videos optimized for Instagram's algorithm
• Stay ahead of social media trends, viral formats, and platform updates to maximize reach
• Engage with our community through comments, DMs, and interactive content
• Analyse performance metrics and adjust strategy to improve engagement and follower growth
• Collaborate with the team to capture authentic behind-the-scenes and product content
• Manage day-to-day Instagram operations including posting schedules and community management
• Build and strengthen brand identity through consistent visual storytelling

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, VN or similar)
• Understanding of Instagram's algorithm, best practices, and emerging features
• Strong eye for visual composition, colour grading, and storytelling
• Knowledge of current social media trends, music, and viral content formats
• Excellent copywriting skills for captions and hooks
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Strong analytical skills to interpret metrics and optimize content strategy

Qualifications:

• Experience in social media content creation and video editing
• Proven portfolio demonstrating successful Instagram growth and engaging video content
• Experience with mobile editing apps and Instagram's native creation tools
• Understanding of brand development and audience engagement strategies
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, , Digital Media, or IT field
• Bonus: Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator)
• Bonus: Knowledge of SEO and hashtag strategies
