Position – Manager - Digital Advertising Sales, Automotive

About the company


Autocar India is a licensed publication of 'Autocar', a British automobile publication by Haymarket Motoring Publications Ltd. It is part of Haymarket SAC Publishing (India) Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture between Haymarket and Sorabjee Automotive Communications.

This was soon followed by Autocar Professional and What Car?. The company now employs over 150 people across India.


Autocar India is headquartered in Mumbai, with offices in Gurugram and Bengaluru.

Role Summary

In this role, your mission will be to monetize Autocar India’s assets through digital ad sales, events and brand solutions. You must be well connected with Brands and Agencies across the market to drive revenue.


The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in online media sales, with other platform and format sales exposures as an advantage. We're looking for an energetic, self-motivated person with a consultative sales approach who is pro-active in driving revenue and increasing the client base. Candidate must be results driven, have strong analytical skills and be committed to creating new business opportunities.


The Candidate is expected to understand and be able to articulate our overall business objectives & its value proposition to the advertising community.

Requirements

· 4 years in automotive digital Ad sales

· In Depth understanding of media platforms and the overall media ecosystem

· Must be well connected in the respective markets with brands and agencies

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment within tight deadlines

· Must have an understanding of digital platforms like Google, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.

· Must be well versed with all commercial models CPM, CPC, CPV, CPA, roadblocks etc.

· Excellent verbal, written, inter-personal and communication skills is a must

· Thorough understanding of PR and content marketing

· Must be adept at designing proposals and well versed with Excel and Power point

· Experience of working within a dynamic, performance driven environment. Customer-focused with ability to recognize sales opportunities.

· Relationships with key decision makers at leading companies and Top agencies.

· Demonstrated track record of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and delivery.


Responsibilities

· Represent Autocar India, Autocar events to clients and partners across India.

· Provide print/events/digital solutions in branding, advertising, PR and performance marketing to Auto clients using the Autocar’s Platform

· Support the creative process as required, solicit briefs, write proposals, negotiate prices, and book new business

· Coordinate with Operations team for the delivery of campaigns

· Identify and grow relationships with media agencies and brands

· Manage and maintain a sales pipeline for the Indian geography

· Meet quarterly targets


Minimum Qualifications

Any Graduate

MBA in Sales and Marketing, added advantage
