Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Die Maker with proven experience in Gravity Die Casting (GDC) for aluminum components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for die manufacturing, maintenance, and ensuring precision in tooling operations to support the company’s production and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble, and maintain dies for Gravity Die Casting (GDC) applications.
• Operate lathe, drill, surface grinder, and milling machines for die and component preparation.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and part specifications accurately.
• Select and use appropriate die materials and tooling components based on project requirements.
• Inspect, repair, and modify existing dies to ensure production efficiency and dimensional accuracy.
• Coordinate with design and production teams to troubleshoot tooling-related issues.
• Maintain records of die usage, repair, and preventive maintenance schedules.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Gravity Die Casting (GDC) — mandatory.
• Strong understanding of die-making tools, die materials, and tooling processes.
• Proficient in operating lathe, drilling, milling, and surface grinding machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing blueprints.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain precision in manual and machine operations.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with die maintenance for aluminum casting.
• Basic knowledge of CNC or automated tooling systems (preferred, not mandatory).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
