Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Dialogflow CX Developer to design, develop, and maintain advanced conversational AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in building chatbots and virtual agents using Google's Dialogflow CX platform.Telus Digital Careers

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex conversational flows, including intents, entities, and fulfillment logic using cloud functions, webhooks, or other appropriate technologies.
  
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
  
• Implement and maintain robust error handling and logging mechanisms.
  
• Monitor and analyze agent performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  
• Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards for the team.
  
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing activities.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Dialogflow CX agent performance.
  
• Work with the team to establish best practices for testing, deployment, and monitoring of chat platform applications.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  
• 6 to 9 years of overall software development experience.
  
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying chat solutions using Dialogflow CX.
  
• Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  
• Experience with API integration (REST, SOAP).
  
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services.
  
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Developer certifications.
  
• Experience with Swift and/or Kotlin.
  
• Proficiency in using Jest for unit testing and familiarity with other testing frameworks and methodologies.
  
• Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
