Principal Engineer Vehicle Integration

Job Role / Responsibilities:

• Lead the

  Vehicle Integration team

  to deliver a complete passenger car/SUV program from concept to production.
• Define and manage

  overall vehicle architecture, layout, hard points, and modularity

  across variants.
• Ensure integration of all vehicle systems while maintaining

  cost, quality, weight, performance, and ergonomics

  targets.
• Collaborate with

  CAE (Computer Aided Engineering), NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness), Safety, Homologation, Manufacturing, Service, and Costing teams

  .
• Implement

  best practices, tools, and processes

  for vehicle integration and continuous improvement.
• Guide the team on

  benchmarking, competitive analysis, and best-in-class system integration solutions

  .
• Evaluate

  product change requests

  , prepare design options, decision matrices, and technical reports for management.
• Review and resolve

  vehicle package interface issues and BOM (Bill of Materials)

  .
• Identify and escalate

  critical vehicle integration risks

  to senior management.
• Work with costing and component development teams to validate

  overall product cost and investment

  .

• FEA (Finite Element Analysis), CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), NVH tools

• Manufacturing process knowledge:

  Injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion, plastic welding, sheet metal, casting, forging, prototyping
