Qualification : BE-Mechanical/Metallurgy

Job Requirements:

Head of maintenance- IOBP/IOGS/Kalingeri

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Mechanical Operations & Maintenance:

• Lead and supervise the mechanical team in the operation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment used in iron ore grinding and beneficiation.
• Ensure all mechanical systems, such as crushers, ball mills, conveyors, cyclones, thickeners, flotation cells, pumps, and other related equipment, are functioning efficiently.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

2. Process Optimization:

• Collaborate with the process team to optimize grinding and beneficiation processes to improve plant output and efficiency.
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize operational disruptions.
• Analyze mechanical data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate strategies.

3. Project Management:

• Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of new mechanical systems and upgrades.
• Manage capital projects related to mechanical systems and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to procure necessary equipment and services for the plant.

4. Safety & Compliance:

• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures related to mechanical operations. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to promote a safe working environment.
• Any other task assigned from time to time
