Position:

Department:

Position Overview:

To lead and manage the PPIC function for injectable manufacturing operations, ensuring effective production planning, material availability, and inventory control in compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and control the
Master Production Schedule (MPS)
based on sales forecasts and plant capacity.
Coordinate with
Production, QA, QC, Engineering, and Procurement
to ensure on-time and compliant manufacturing.
Manage
Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
to ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials.
Monitor and control inventory levels
to maintain optimal stock, prevent shortages or excess, and ensure full traceability.
Oversee
inventory accuracy
through effective ERP/MRP management and periodic stock reconciliation.
Ensure all PPIC activities comply with
cGMP, GDP
, and regulatory requirements (e.g., WHO, USFDA, EU-GMP).
Lead effective
system utilization
and maintain accurate data for production planning and reporting.
Drive continuous improvement in scheduling, material flow, and resource utilization.
Lead, coach, and develop the PPIC team to strengthen planning and analytical capability.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma / M. Pharma) with minimum
15+ years
of experience in
sterile/injectable pharmaceutical operations
.
Strong knowledge of GMP/GDP and production planning systems.
Excellent
communication and coordination
skills.
Proficient in
MS Office
.
