About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our engineering and security operations team for the Amdocs (AXL) Project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines, automating security testing, and ensuring compliance and system integrity across cloud and containerized environments.
This role offers an opportunity to work with modern DevSecOps toolchains, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and security automation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system security posture and deployment efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage DevSecOps pipelines integrating security checks (SAST, DAST, Image Scanning, Secrets Management, Compliance).
Automate and maintain security testing across the SDLC using tools such as SonarQube, Veracode, Sysdig Inline Scan, and Sysdig Runtime.
Deploy and manage CI/CD environments using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Rancher, and Kubernetes.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for secure and consistent environment provisioning.
Monitor application and infrastructure security and performance using Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, and AWS CloudWatch.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to integrate secure coding and deployment practices.
Support vulnerability management and remediation activities as per KPI/SLA.
Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline, infrastructure, and runtime security issues.
Participate in regular reviews to identify and mitigate potential risks or process improvements.

Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
3 4 years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or Security Automation.
Strong understanding of secure SDLC, container security, and cloud-native architectures.
Experience working with CI/CD and infrastructure automation tools.
Familiarity with security scanning, compliance, and vulnerability management.
Good knowledge of networking and cloud security principles (AWS preferred).
Certifications (Preferred)
DevSecOps Foundation (DSOF) or Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP)
(ISC) Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) or CompTIA Security+
AWS Certified Security Specialty (optional but preferred)
HashiCorp Terraform Associate (good to have)
