Job Description

DevOps Java Engineer - 8 to 11Yrs exp

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Java Engineer to join our team.

The candidate should have a strong background in java development, DevOps practices and experience with various tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GIT, Ansible, Tower, Artifactory
Design, develop and maintain large-scale Java applications
Plan and manage application deployments across regional data centers including the change management administration
Maintenance of RHEL Linux hosts, i.e. supporting upgrades to RHEL versions, migration to new hosts, remediation of vulnerabilities or issues
Develop and maintain scripts for automation, monitoring and deployment
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Work closely with QA teams to ensure seamless integration of testing and deployment processes.
Management of application service accounts/credentials

Technical Requirements:

8-11 years of experience in DevOps and Java development
Strong proficiency in Java programming language and relevant framework, dependency injections, multithreading
Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, build tools like Maven and GIT, deployment tools like Ansible
Linux basics such as file systems, user management and process management, scripting, security
Strong problem solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

Candidate have exposure to ETrading application
Knowledge on Investment Banking Products and Financial Market
Experience with Agile methodologies
Knowledge of security best practices
